8 COUPLES REGISTER MARRIAGES DURING FAMILY LIFE PRESENTATIONS AT GEREHU

A two-week Family Life Presentations hosted by the John’s Foundation team at Gerehu Stage 6 concluded yesterday on a high note with a formal marriage registration ceremony.

Themed “Fix the Home and Take Back PNG,” the fortnight event drew large community participation during its duration.

It witnessed a significant milestone yesterday (Sunday) as eight couples formally signed and registered their marriages with the PNG Civil Registry Office.

The initiative, facilitated by the Sogavare Memorial SDA Church’s Family Life and Stewardship arms, is part of a broader campaign to strengthen families as the foundation for a better Papua New Guinea.

Guest speaker Pastor Peter Yambe, President of 2Witness Radio and TV, praised the initiative.

“This is what transformation looks like. When we fix the home, we fix the nation. What happened here at Gerehu is a testimony that change is possible when families are aligned with God’s design,” said Pastor Yambe.

Pastor Yambe also extended his gratitude to the community and prayer supporters.

“Thank you for all your prayers. We are witnessing answers in action. God bless Papua New Guinea,” said Pastor Yambe.

The event featured family life teachings, counseling sessions, and spiritual encouragement aimed at healing relationships and reinforcing biblical family values.

Organizers say the success of this program will serve as a model for similar outreaches in other communities across the nation.
