PNG SUN SIGNS NEWS SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL VIDEO NEWS AGENCY

PNG SUN, an advertising and digital news leader in the country, has signed news service agreement with CCTV News Content Co. Ltd, a video news agency of China Media Group, for mutually sharing news contents free-of-charge.

Managing Editor for PNG SUN, Wanpis Ako said with increased copy-right infringements for news contents, the MoU will enable PNG SUN to share
CCTV News Content Co. Ltd’s international news across its digital media platforms.

This bilateral media coorperation arrangement will lift PNG SUN’s profile and enhance its following and audiences in the Pacific and globally, Mr. Ako said.

In PNG, CCTV News Content Co. Ltd has similar cooperation with NBC, Click TV and Digicel Play (TV Wan).

Alicia Zhang, who is in-charge of the businesses in Pacific Island Countries for the organization, said: “We provide free news services for our signed clients. We release more than 100 news footages on our website everyday including breaking news in China and important news in the worldwide. Here is our website for reference: http://www.cctvplus.com/

“All the above services are totally free of charge after signing the agreement with us. It’s a universal template which is for protecting our copyrights as well as our usage rights.”

“In addition, we also offer live signal in China and worldwide, such as Spring Festival Gala and many other big events.

‍”For now, we have more than 700 media partners in more than 150 countries. In Pacific Islands countries, we have cooperation with PINA and its members.”
