With the inclusion of 14 Opposition MPs led by OUR Party Leader, Rainbo Paita back to the coalition government recently, party recruitment is crucial for ministerial security and key government decisions in government.
As such, Social Democratic Party (SDP) led by NCD Governor, Hon. Powes Parkop this afternoon recruited Milne Bay Provincial Member, Gordon Wesley to the party ranks.
His inclusion boosted SDP’s number to 7:
1. NCD Governor Powes Parkop;
2. Defence Minister and Deputy SDP Leader, Billy Joseph;
3. Foreign Affairs Minister, Justin Tkatchenko;
4. Ijivitari MP, David Arore;
5. Wewak MP, Stanley Muts Samban;
6. Kagua Erave MP. Maina Pano; and,
7. Milne Bay Provincial MP, Gordon Wesley.
Minister Joseph welcomed Hon. Gordon Wesley to the party.
Wesley first won 2022 General Elections under PNC Party ticket.
SDP leader, Hon. Powes Parkop is expected to make a statement to this effect.
