They have outlined 13 issues leading to their exclusion, including:

– Poor dissemination of by-law information
– Reputational and financial impact on students
– Improper advising for failed courses (F Grades)
– Completion of required major credit points (36 CP)
– Incorrect course advising for SFY courses failures (non-Major)
– Denial of natural justice
– Failure to update transcripts
– Incorrect course advising (Broadening course)
– Portal registration limitations
– Improper vetting process
They said: “The main and only concern of the affected students is to graduate. We will not accept any option that requires us to return to take additional courses or repeat any requirements.
“Our position is firm. We must be allowed to graduate.”
They emphasize they were determined to graduate and won’t accept extra courses or repeats.
Vice Chancellor Professor Ian Findlay had previously acknowledged administrative errors within the School of Natural and Physical Sciences and promised to resolve the issue by the end of this week.
