RIMBU RETURNS HOME TO SP PNG HUNTERS

The SP PNG Hunters has announced the return of star player, Judah Rimbu for the rest of the 2025 Hostplus Cup season.

Rimbu is one of Papua New Guinea’s best rugby league players.

In 2024, he was awarded the Petero Civoniceva Medal for being the best and fairest player in the Queensland Rugby League competition.

He recently played in England for the Castleford Tigers, but has now returned home after being released as part of their mid-season changes.

Hunters Head Coach Paul Aiton welcomed him back with pride.

“I’m happy to have Judah back. He is a quality player, full of energy. The boys love him, and this is his home. We are like family here,” said Coach Aiton.

Rimbu’s return is a big boost for the Hunters. He brings strength, leadership, and passion.

Fans all over PNG are excited to see him wear the Hunters jersey again.
