NGCB BACKS 2025 GOROKA SHOW AS NAMING RIGHTS SPONSOR WITH K400,000

#pngsunhighlandsnews: The National Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has renewed its commitment as the naming rights sponsor of the 2025 Goroka Show, contributing K400,000 to support the iconic cultural festival.
The 69th NGCB Goroka Show will take place from 19–21 September at the National Sports Institute in Goroka under the theme “Unity in Diversity.”
NGCB Chief Executive Officer Imelda Agon in a statement said the sponsorship reflects the organization’s commitment to preserving culture and promoting tourism.
“Our support is more than financial backing — it is a statement of pride in our heritage, our people, and our nation’s journey,” she said.
Goroka Show Committee chairlady Keryn Hargreaves thanked NGCB for its loyalty, noting the partnership has lasted more than a decade.
Recognized as one of Papua New Guinea’s oldest cultural events, the Goroka Show attracts international visitors while boosting local economic opportunities through art, culture, and tourism.
