Air Niugini has issued an advisory announcement regarding disruptions to air travel caused by temporary airspace closures in parts of the Middle East.
In a statement, the airline said: “Air Niugini is monitoring the current situation affecting parts of the Middle East, where temporary airspace closures are impacting some international airlines.”

While Air Niugini’s flights to Singapore, Manila, and Hong Kong are operating as scheduled, the airline warns that passengers with onward connections to the Middle East, Europe, or Africa may experience disruptions.
To minimize inconvenience, Air Niugini recommends that passengers:
■ Confirm the status of their onward connecting flight with the operating airline prior to departure
■ Ensure contact details in their booking are up to date
■ Consider flexible travel options where available
■ Review travel insurance coverage relating to international disruptions
