“Praise God that Elder Mark Finley’s hip surgery was completed without any complications, and he is recovering well.
A few hours after the surgery, when I walked up to his bedside, the very first thing he asked was, ‘How were the evangelistic meetings?’
“You may be able to take the man off the platform for a little while, but you definitely can’t take evangelism out of him.”
The road ahead may still be a long one but hope and courage are very much alive and present. Thank you all for your prayers and support!”
The update has brought relief and encouragement to members of the global Adventist community, many of whom continue to keep Finley in their prayers as he begins his recovery journey.
