PRK Mendi Muruks have secured a place in the Digicel ExxonMobil Cup 2026 grand final after defeating Morobe Kandes 18-14 at Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby last Sunday.
The result means the Muruks earn a direct bye into the grand-final, while the Kandes will now face ENB Agmark Gurias for the remaining grand-final spot.
Earlier on Sunday, the ENB Agmark Gurias RLFC defeated Wamp Nga Mt Hagen Eagles 42-22 in the first semi-final.
The loss ends the Eagles’ 2026 campaign, while the Gurias remain in the premiership race and will meet the Kandes for a place in the grand-final.
The Muruks now have the advantage of resting ahead of the premiership decider.
