Trukai Industries has signed rising rugby league player Cooper Bai as its new Brand Ambassador on a two-year agreement, strengthening the company’s push to connect with young Papua New Guineans.
Bai, who comes from a strong rugby league background, joins Trukai as the company looks to promote ambition, determination, healthy living and community development through one of PNG’s emerging sporting talents.
The partnership also carries on the legacy of Bai’s father, former NRL star Marcus Bai, whose career and achievements have inspired generations of Papua New Guinean rugby league players.
Trukai Industries General Manager for Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands Andrew Grace in a statement said Cooper represented the next generation of rugby league talent and reflected the values of the Trukai brand.
“Cooper represents the next generation of rugby league talent, inspiring young Papua New Guineans through his passion and commitment to the game,” Grace said.
Grace said the partnership would support its broader commitment to quality products, healthy living and community development while strengthening its connection with consumers across the country.
The company said Bai would help bring the Trukai brand story to life through his influence and shared values, particularly among young Papua New Guineans.
Trukai Industries said it would continue investing in its products, brands and communities as it strengthens its position as a leading food company in Papua New Guinea.
