RAKAMANDA ADVENTIST HIGH SCHOOL UNDER INVESTMENT SPOTLIGHT

The Rakamanda Adventist High School in Wabag, Enga Province is undergoing significant improvements to its rebuilt facilities.

The school was burnt down in a tribal fight but was rebuilt from its ashes.

The Wabag District Development Authority and Enga Provincial Government have jointly invested millions of Kina to give new lease of life to the school.

A 4-in-1 classroom was opened yesterday by Enga Provincial Member, Sir Peter Ipatas.

The classroom was constructed by a local company, Cost Guide (PNG) Limited at a cost of K1 million. It was funded by EPG.

Wabag MP Lino Tom, who was not present during the occasion, said WDDA funded the school parameter fencing, the other two classrooms, constructed with steels and bricks, at a total cost of K3 million.
