The Enga resident judge Justice Ellis Graham was amongst three other judges who were sworn-in this morning in light of his judicial authority being questioned by aggrieved parties.
The parties alleged that he pronounced some judgements at a time last year when his retirement age was reached, rendering lack of judicial authority. The matters are before the courts.

Governor-General Sir Bob Bofeng Dadae this morning officiated the swearing-in ceremony of judges and acting judges of the National and Supreme Courts at Government House in Port Moresby.
Justice Ellis was reappointed for a further three-year term as a judge of the Supreme and National Court following a decision by the Judicial and Legal Services Commission (JLSC).
Having realised the administrative flaw, JLSC effected his reappointment this month.
Also reappointed for three-year terms was Justice Sir Kina Bona, KBE, while Justice Silas Kaule and Justice Jeffrey Mesa were appointed as acting judges of the Supreme and National Courts.
All appointed judges and acting judges recited the Oath of Office, Declaration of Loyalty, and Judicial Declaration before the Governor-General.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Justice Sir Gibuma Gibbs Salika and Deputy Chief Justice Ambeng Kandakasi, along with senior judicial officers.
