Sepik man retires from Paradise Food Company after 39-year service

The Paradise Foods Limited and staff members have farewelled a Sepik man who was serving the company for 39 years.

Titus Bell is a longtime resident of Lae, Morobe Province.

“He proclaims himself a ‘Sepik belong Morobe’ with Lae always being his home and where his heart is at,” the firm said.

The company said Bell who joined Paradise Foods at just 21 years old, adding he loved every moment of his journey with the company.

In his farewell advice to staff, Mr. Bell said: “Punctuality and Obedience is the key to lasting in any organization.” Through his employment at Paradise Foods, I was able to change bad habits that hindered his finances and life.

As he enters retirement, Titus said he will focus on his health before travelling to visit family in the Sepik Region.

During his farewell lunch, the employer presented him with a solar power system valued at K4,000 as a token of appreciation.

“Thank you, Titus, for 39 years of loyalty and service. You’ll always be part of the Paradise Foods family,” the company said.

He holds a Bachelor of Art Degree majoring in Theatre Arts while minoring in Journalism/Public Relations from the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG).
