The six-month on-the-job training at the Pinnacle of PNG Limited has offered a new job to Noilyn Kariwa at Emcom Limited.
She is expected to move before this week ends. The new employer has not been named yet, though.
Ms. Kariwa said:” My new job achievement is through the good governance and accountability under trustworthy from the Pinnacle of PNG Limited established with Emcom Limited.”
Ms. Kariwa told the PNG SUN: “I have completed six months of on-the-job training with Pinnacle of PNG Limited.”
She said it as a transformative professional journey” into PNG’s tax and advisory sector.
Ms. Kariwa, from Milne Bay and Northern provinces, studied Certificate in Accounting at ITI before starting OJT with Pinnacle of PNG Limited 2025.
Her training was delivered through The Pinnacle of PNG Limited, the consultancy’s training arm based at Boroko Garden City, Level 1, Office 18.
“The program bridged the gap between theoretical accounting knowledge and the fast-paced, real-world requirements of a premier tax consultancy in PNG,” Ms. Kariwa said.
Over six months, she worked on core compliance tasks, including:
●IRC tax reconciliations
●IPA registrations key services offered by Cambarijan Business Consultancy to its 50+ clients across PNG.
“This journey has been more than just a training period. It was a deep dive into the world of PNG tax compliance and business advisory,” she said.
“From mastering IRC tax reconciliations to understanding the complexities of IPA registrations, I’ve gained invaluable hands-on experience.”
Ms. Kariwa thanked Managing Director Dr. Queenie Ivy Seno Cambarijan and the team for direct mentorship during the program.
“A huge thank you to Dr. Queenie Ivy Seno Cambarijan and the entire team for the mentorship and for bridging the gap between my studies and my career. I am now ready to take on the professional world with confidence,” she said.
The Pinnacle of PNG Limited runs 3-month OJT intakes monthly, linking graduates to roles at Cambarijan Business Consultancy Limited and other employers.
The “training to employment” pathway takes TVET and accounting graduates from classroom theory to paid roles in tax, bookkeeping, and corporate compliance.
She called on her fellow colleagues and young graduates with certificates and diploma holders:
“Let’s us not isolate within ourselves with what we have. We must work anyway to live a life.”
