K221.2 million paid to state as interim dividend

Kumul Minerals Holdings Limited (KMHL) has paid K221.2 million to the Papua New Guinea Government as an interim dividend following strong production performance by Ok Tedi Mining Limited, with a further K304 million expected before the end of 2026.

KMHL Chairman Madiu Andrew said the payment reflects Ok Tedi’s strong performance and continued contribution to Papua New Guinea’s economy.
A further K304 million is expected before the end of the year, potentially taking total dividends to approximately K525 million.

PNG’s mineral resources continue to generate significant returns to the State and the national economy.
